During 2024, 111,555 women and people with gestational capacity
gained access to safe abortion services provided by Ipas LAC-supported health facilities (health units) in 8 countries in the region.

2024 was a year of deep reflection, learning, and growth. At Ipas Latin America and the Caribbean (Ipas LAC), we paused and reflected on the ground we have covered while staying rooted in the present and focused on the horizon: the ongoing fight for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) in Latin America and the Caribbean.
It was a year of tending to our garden—learning from past experiences, building new
partnerships, and nurturing seeds of growth into powerful actions and transformative
